ElderChoice is a New York State licensed and certified provider of home health care services for Syracuse, Oneida, Cortland, Ithaca, Rome & Utica, NY areas. Our services can offer an alternative to nursing home placement by providing an individual’s personal and medical care needs at home. We are committed to improving a person’s quality of life by offering exceptional services through screened and highly trained professionals.
Our patient’s health and safety is of the utmost importance to us. Our care providers work and function together as a team to surround the individual with support, expertise, and care. We provide a full range of home health services including: Skilled Nursing care (both RN’s & LPN’s), Home Health Aides, Personal Care Aides and Homemaker/ Companion services.
We also specialize in care and support for individuals with traumatic brain injuries that have rendered them unable to live and function independently within their home and community.
ElderChoice is also a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) and a certified Medicaid provider. |
Our History
ElderChoice was originally founded by Jacqueline Scripa, RN, MSW in 1997. Jackie strongly believed in the
uniqueness of each and every individual served and was a strong advocate for Traumatic Brain Injury awareness and quality care for the elderly. Jackie’s passion and vision is still carried on by her children and all of the exceptional staff at ElderChoice today!
