ElderChoice is a New York State Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) that provides certified aides for Central New York including: the Syracuse, Oneida, Cortland, Ithaca, Rome & Utica areas.

Home Health Aides (HHA)
Provides a higher level of care than PCAs including:

•	Medication Management
•	Wound care
•	Medication Administration
•	Personal care tasks.

Personal Care Aides (PCA)
Provides safety and oversight and assistance with personal care needs (hygiene, transfers, etc.).

•	Trained by NYS Licensed RN’s & LPN’s
•	Are Supervised by Licensed Nurses to ensure highest quality of care

Referrals
We accept referrals from hospitals, inpatient facilities, family members, social workers and more. The individual must have a medical order from their primary care physician in order to receive these services.

Reimbursement
ElderChoice accepts private pay, long term care insurance and worker’s compensation for certified aide services.
